The Association
organizes three recreational and cultural visits a year, in which members and
their guests can participate. These excursions can be one of three kinds:
a) One morning: visiting a place of interest in the city of Barcelona. This
activity is scheduled in winter, being the season of the shortest days.
b) A whole day: In this case, the destination is located within Catalonia;
leaving and returning to the city the same day.
c) Weekend trip (two or three days): In that case, the locations of interest
are usually various and include guided tours to outstanding monuments of the city
or cities to be visited.
The excursions always take place on a Saturday, except the ones including a
whole weekend or those taking place on a specific holiday.
The starting point is normally in the city of Barcelona, at the intersection of
Enric Granados and Diputació.
The main objective is to visit museums and public and/or private collections of
ceramics (glazed or unglazed pottery, porcelain, etc.), but also to foster
personal relationships between the members of our organization.
